victory of the overcome
by david goodrich

to those in need
yours is the victory
yes, yours is the victory
you are deplete
your scars are deep
and yours is the victory

cause all we need is need
and all we need to see
is that we do not see

the finish line is not far
can you hear the crowd
they’re shouting loud for you
for you the overcome
for you the victory’s won
the victory of the overcome

So lift your self right off the floor now
you don’t need to pretend
He has evened up the score now
on Him you can depend

don’t lose your heart
don’t lose your soul
don’t lose your mind
don’t lose control

Thanks, Dave! We do have the whole album that this song came from up on iTunes. If you type in "Tommy Tomorrow" it should come up. I am pretty proud of that whole album even though I don't make music like that anymore. It was a pretty memorable time in life and a fun project to be a part of. Thanks for the props!

That is a great song! Do you have more stuff on iTunes? The chord progression and melody kinda reminds me of Accidental Deth by Rilo Kiley.

I hope so too. I don't go to the music, but get my coffee there every day. If we keep it local and avoid the chains, they have a better chance of making it. Although the place is always busy when I'm there, so that's good. Coffee's good too.

I love the Jackson Coffee Co. I go to their music shows quite a bit. I missed the Fox show, but went this past Friday when Dave ?? from Illinois was there. Great venue to listen to music and get the best cup of coffee in Jackson. I hope they continue doing this. Lots of coffee houses come and go, but they seem to be doing well. With having the best coffee in Jackson, I suggest they'll be staying around.
